Bats for Beginners at The Knapp and Papermill - Worcestershire Wildlife Trust
Saturday 1st August, 7:00pm - 10:00pm
Led by: Professional ecologist – Cody Levine
Learn about bat species in the UK and how to use bat detectors to tune into their world of echolocation. The Knapp and Papermill is very important for bats, and 11 of the UK’s 17 regular breeding species are found here, such as the brown long-eared bat and common pipestrelle. You will discover how to identify these different species by their sounds, flight patterns and general behaviour.
