Nineveh Ridge Care Farm
Nineveh Ridge at Bayton in the Wyre Forest is a Care farm which provides meaningful outdoor work to people with a variety of problems, including those with drug & alcohol addictions, mental health issues or learning difficulties
There's loads of things for people to get involved with including; animal husbandry, horticulture, cookery, carpentry and art & crafts.
It is such a relaxing environment where people can work at their own pace and take part in doing whatever they are interested in. This means being at the farm is not only enjoyable, but it increases self confidence and practical skills as well as a chance to meet new friends.
There are a wide range of animals to pet and look after including cattle, pigs, Shetland ponies, goats, sheep, ducks, hens, cats and of course "Alfie" the Golden Retriever who gives a warm welcome and a paw shake to everyone! All of the staff at Nineveh are advanced CRB checked and have experience of working with adults with special needs, dementia and autism.
Nineveh Ridge is owned & run by Mark & Pippa Bannister. If you have a group that you think may benefit from visiting the farm, then use the contact details below.
